ISLAMABAD – Two agents were apprehended by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Islamabad Zone for allegedly scamming a citizen of Rs 1.5 million under the guise of arranging an Albanian work visa.
An FIA official stated on Wednesday that the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Rawalpindi conducted the operation, apprehending two suspects in relation to FIR No. 647/2026: Ghulam Dastgir and Shahid Hussain.
He said the suspects allegedly received Rs 1.5 million from the complainant after promising to send him abroad on an Albanian work visa.
The official said investigators were examining the alleged fraud, while the role of other individuals involved in the case would also be determined during the investigation.
The official added that Inspector Zainab Batool was looking into the matter.
According to the source, FIA Islamabad Zone is still determined to prosecute those who engage in human trafficking, visa fraud, and other related crimes.
