ISLAMABAD: JUI Senator Kamran Murtaza has said that the opposition parties’ alliance has been formed up to the parliament level.
Kamran Murtaza talking to media here called for a written agreement for the new system.
“I have a message for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the politics is not a seat of flowers, one has to stand with resolve,” Senator Murtaza said.
He said, what is the issue if the PTI’s founder or his family want to get his medical treatment in a specific hospital of choice.
Commenting on contempt plea in the supreme court against the government, Barrister Kamran Murtaza said that the contempt will not be proved.
The Senator from Balochistan, urged that the people’s right to govern and right to own should be accepted.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) earlier approved an opposition alliance with Fazal ur Rehman’s JUI.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazal ur Rehman last Thursday announced the formation of a united opposition after his meeting with opposition leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai.
Speaking after the meeting, Fazal ur Rehman said consultations had been held with the opposition leaders in the Senate and the National Assembly.
He said the opposition had agreed to move towards forming a united opposition and wanted to play a joint parliamentary role.
The meeting with Mahmood Achakzai was part of consultations among opposition parties on developing a joint parliamentary strategy.
